Somehow Howie seems to be at the center of every facetious "controversy"; in fact some believe that at the end of every month, it's "pick on Howie time".

After R2K, Howie released a group of photos called "The Girls of R2K", which turned out to be a series of largely unflattery portraits of women who attended R2K. He's since been forbidden by several of these women to bring a camera into the US (he's from Canada).

He also leads the Central caravan, a fast, efficient group with a lot of attitude.

But despite his lack of seriousness, deep down he's a very caring person; take a look at Gary's page to see what I mean.
